Summary:

When we think about being chosen we often think about it as an event that happened at some point in our past. We were chosen for the baseball team or we were chosen for the job or we were chosen for the high school dance. When we respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ and surrender our lives to him, God chooses us for adoption into his family. "Chosen" becomes who we are; a piece of our identity. When we live within our chosenness we are set free to be who God has called us to be and to do what God has called us to do.
