No matter where you turn in the Bible; no matter where you turn in the story of God, we find that God has this incredible affinity for the hurting. He runs to the margins. He's drawn to the lonely, the thirsty, the sick; so much so that when we serve them, we are loving Him. When we ignore them, we miss Him. That's what Jesus said!
