Summary:

The call to a life of persistent prayer is one that many of us would like to feel more equipped to answer. The idea of praying without giving up is an attractive idea and we find some life in picturing ourselves as that kind of a praying person. But we often find it far more difficult to live out in our daily lives. In the parable of the persistent widow, Jesus gives us some key realities that we need to keep on the forefront of our hearts and minds as we seek to pray with extraordinary persistence.
