I grew up attending church with my family and accepted Jesus as my savior at a young age. As life went on, I experienced some things and lost my faith. Through the love of some really amazing people in my life, I found my way back to God about 9 years ago. One of the things that stands out to me from my time away from Him was that when I look back on it now, I can see that not once did Jesus leave my side through all of it - just like the Zach Williams song, There Was Jesus.

Because of the time I spent struggling, homeless, wondering where my next meal was coming from, I feel very passionately about being able to show God’s love for others in similar situations who may be feeling lost and alone in my role as Local Impact Director.
