friends, thank you for praying for my mother! the sweet chariot swung low thursday last week to take her home. she appreciated my people praying for her.
John Tennis was hit while riding his bike on Orchard Road. He was flown out and has broken left shoulder, broken ribs, left hand, his pelvis had to be screwed back together and his left knee is all messed up. He is now conscious. Very long road to recovery
Please pray for Pat’s mom. Hospice nurse has said probably 48 hours. Praying Jo Anne runs into Jesus arms peacefully.
Please pray for my mother. She fell and broke her hip yesterday morning. She is scheduled for surgery to get a partial hip replacement this morning. She is 89 and was recovering from a stroke from last October. Pray also for Dave, my sister and I as we continue to navigate how we can help my parents. They desire to remain independent. Dad is also recovering from the same hip surgery from a fall back in January.
Thank you to all who prayed for our neighbor’s 16 year old grand niece, Bella. She has been released from the hospital! She still needs prayer that they can get to the bottom of the intestinal infections and that she not need the colostomy bag. Thank you again for praying!
please pray for my 84 year old mother, jo anne sherren? she has a brain bleed and has decided not to pursue treatment. she has not eaten enough to talk about in 3 days, and continues to not have an appetite. it appears she is winding down. please pray for smooth sailing through the gates of heaven.
Please pray for my Mom, Phyllis Stevens. We received a diagnosis at the beginning of this month that she has colon cancer. Things have moved rather quickly and her surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, 8/1. She is a strong woman and a two-time breast cancer survivor. But she is 88 years old and the risks are high. Pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and strength for my Mother and our family (my sister has also been fighting cancer for several years). Thank you...
Please pray for our friend Bill, late 60's, who just received a diagnosis of leukemia. God placed him and his wife more deeply in our lives last year and we have been blessed to watch him open His heart and arms more fully to God's presence. Pray we will do all we can for him, and that God will show him just how much healing God is capable of. Thank you.
Please pray an extraordinary prayer for a sweet ten year old girl who was just diagnosed with leukemia. She was born with Down syndrome and has battled heart surgery and other problems in her young life in addition to losing her father 3+ years ago after a long cancer battle. Please ask for strength for her Mom, twin brother, and older brother as they try to navigate this unexplainably sad path ahead. Please pray God will surround them with compassionate strong God-lovers to overflow His healing and love into their lives.
PLEASE prayers needed for the Park Fire here in Chico to stop growing and get containment. It is now affecting 4 counties! Join us in asking the Lord to calm winds, bring rain, protect those fighting this fire that they can gain control. This fire is now larger than the Camp Fire that devastated the town of Paradise. Once again the town of Paradise has been evacuated. Terry and I and our family are safe at this point. We are crying out for the Lord to intervene.
