Gene’s surgery was successful. He is in a lot of pain today, Thankful he is moving everything and is able to walk with minimal help to/from the bathroom and bedside chair. We will be here until pain is under control. Thank you so much for praying.
Update on Bruce: Last evening Bruce was put on a (ECMO) Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine and life flighted to IU Health in Indianapolis Indiana. Thank you for your continued prayers for him and his family!
Please pray for Gene tomorrow. He will be having neck surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Please pray for wisdom for the docs, successful surgery, and pain control. We will be there 3-5 days. Travel mercies as well. We leave this afternoon. Thank you!
Please pray for our friends that were here visiting last week. Bruce has been in the hospital since Sunday morning. He suffered from a stroke and has had many seizures. He is currently inhabited with a very grim prognosis, but our God is so faithful! Bruce and Sandy both have a great relationship with Jesus....but are surely going through a difficult storm. Pray healing over Bruce, strength for Sandy and their daughters as they walk through this. journey.
One of my co-workers has been struggling with grief since the loss of her son last spring. He was in his early 30's, and he left behind a wife and infant daughter. The family has been doing their best to deal with the profound loss since that time, but it has been very difficult. My co-worker is a believer, but this tragedy has admittedly rocked her faith, and given her questions and doubts she never had before. I told her about Pastor Scott's powerful "wounded faith" sermon a few weeks ago, and even sent her a link to the sermon podcast. On Friday she asked me to place her anonymously on Calvary's prayer chain. She told me that she can't stop thinking about her son, and she feels like it is getting worse, not better. Thank you for praying.
New development in Jim's sister, Eileen's pancreatic cancer journey. The first treatment 2 weeks ago did not go well. She is currently in the hospital with a diagnosis of diverticulitis, since Sunday. Her second treatment was to be yesterday until this infection was diagnosed. She'll likely have to wait until the week after next for the next treatment. Prayer request is that this infection clears. Although it has been a rough 2 weeks, Eileen is anxious to continue treatment for this aggressive cancer. She has remained positive, praise the Lord!

Please for health and peace for AliceAnne. She is expecting twin boys, her first children, and is having health issues. Added medical needs are also causing unexpected financial stress. Pray for the health of the babies as well as their mother. Thank you.
Please pray for my friend's grandson, Eli. Eli is four years old and is beginning two months of in-patient chemotherapy treatment at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Please pray for Eli's family and for his medical team.
