Please pray for my sister, Tammy today. It’s a tough day. She lost her son to suicide 8 years ago but it is still so fresh. Hard to put words to it, but I believe… Jesus can heal her.
From Sue Jepson: The surgery is done, and the wrist did not appear to be infected, but it's extremely swollen. They sent cultures to make sure there's not any new bacteria. His tendons are very tight. He may need future surgeries to loosen up some scar tissue to help regain movement of his hand. His bones did not appear to be infected. We will probably be here in Hershey a few more days until they come up with a plan and there is no new infection. Thanks so much for praying...good news in the midst of hard news, a long road ahead, but pray for continued healing!
Please pray for my friend Jill that her estranged daughter reconciles with her. Her daughter’s name is Rachel. And I pray for peace for my friend Jill. Thank you.
Please pray for Rachel Sublett. She has flu a and flu b and is at the ER having more tests run tonight. She is 21 weeks pregnant so please pray for her unborn baby girl, too. Rachel is so very miserable.
From Sue Jepson: Please pray for Randy, as he will need to undergo another surgery today on his hand. The infection has now surfaced in his wrist, so he'll need another incision to drain the abcess in his wrist. They suspect the infection has been in his wrist for a while but was undetected. The Doctors are concerned with the deterioration that is taking place in his joint spaces and bones of the hand/wrist. Please pray that the infection would respond to antibiotics, that there would be no deterioration that cannot be reversed, and that this whole situation turns around and full use of his hand would be restored! Pray for wisdom for the team of Doctors who are caring for him. And pray for both Sue and Randy...for peace that passes understanding to guard over their hearts and their minds as they trust in the One who holds them close!
For Jim's sister, Eileen, who has been battling pancreatic cancer since diagnosed in July. She will have a laparoscopic procedure on Tues., 1/21 to help determine if the tumor is now operable. It was previously determined not to be. God's presence and power have been so evident during these past 6 months. I continue to pray for wisdom for the team of doctors and for God's continued mighty work in Eileen, to His glory!
From Sue Jepson: Randy's hand has gotten more red and swollen over the past few days. The Wound Cliic did not like what they saw this morning, so the Dr wants to have him admitted to Hershey today. Not sure if they will do the surgery tomorrow or not. Thank you for praying!
Just found out that my neighbor Tony is having to have his leg amputated again above the knee this time. I’m not sure why yet…. They also did NOT move forward with putting the stints in his other leg yet. Please pray he will heal this time around & the pain won’t be so intense.
Harry and I would like to thank all who prayed for our son's surgery last week.He is doing great. His recovery is going very well and he has no pain. I was reminded of God's goodness and love for us as the worship team sang on Sunday..."I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered, that's why I trust Him. I trust in God, my Savior, the One who will never fail." We sought....He answered...He never fails. Thank you Lord.
I wanted to praise the Lord that my prayers were answered yesterday on a huge issue that was affecting our family! Thank you all for the many prayers, especially for my sons and I thank the Lord for my many blessings!
